Carbon fibre-reinforced polymer (CFRP) tubes are used in many areas of lightweight engineering, to offer a stronger and lighter solution than metal tubes. Handling of lightweight tubes enables applications which would otherwise be difficult or impossible to achieve. The use of carbon fibre also allows specialist features and design elements to be incorporated into the tubes more easily.
